Autoglass and QBE Insurance have announced an expanded three-year partnership.

The vehicle glass repair and replacement provider is preferred supplier to QBE’s policyholders for VGRR and ADAS calibration services. Through its Specials division, Autoglass also supports the needs of QBE customers with more specialist vehicles or fleets, such as coaches, buses and heavy goods vehicles.

In addition to the UK agreement, QBE has extended its partnership to sister companies of Autoglass within the international Belron Group, including Autoglass Ireland, Safelite (US), and O’Brien (Australia).

The extended partnership has been agreed following a long-standing relationship between QBE and Autoglass in the UK and due to the companies’ shared values with regards to customer service.

In addition to VGRR and ADAS calibration, it will cover a range of joint initiatives that will serve to enhance customer experience though the use of digital technology and insurance broker channel.

Neil Atherton, sales and marketing director at Autoglass, said: “This expanded partnership is an endorsement of the strong working relationship and track record of providing excellent customer service to QBE policyholders over a number of years. We are looking forward to building on this effort and experience with our colleagues across the Belron Group, and finding additional ways to add value to the relationship through new service offerings.”

Peter Cox, Claims Category Manager at QBE Insurance Group, added: “Autoglass has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to our working relationship and the needs of our policyholders.

“We see huge partnership opportunities to develop market-leading solutions and new digital services.

“It’s important to us that we work with likeminded organisations that share our ambitions and help us to continue to meet the needs of brokers and customers in the future.”
